The November issue of Shueisha’s Bessatsu Margaret magazine is announcing on its cover next Wednesday that the second season of the Kimi ni Todoke television anime series has been green-lit. The new season will premiere next January on the NTV network in Japan. The live-action film adaptation of Karuho Shiina’s original manga is already playing in Japan.
The November issue of Bessatsu Margaret is also announcing the cast of the live-action film version of Kazune Kawahara’s High School Debut manga.
Director Seiji Mizushima had said during a live commentary for the September re-airing of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Special Edition: Celestial Being that his Gundam 00 assistant director Kenji Nagasaki is busy storyboarding more Kimi ni Todoke.
I can’t help but squeal upon reading this news.. 🙂 Sure, the last season was quite a let down still *imagines more Kazehaya* ^////////////////////////////^.
